Some have proposed that we drop the two senate electoral votes, here's how some past races would have played out:

Couldn't fix ME or NE, cancel each other out:

Bush 224
Kerry 204

Since Bush won in 2000 with 271 electoral votes and 29 states, he would have actually only had 213 electoral votes.

Gore would have had 267(or 266)-the 21 states he took. That would leave him with 225 electoral votes. Gore would've won under this format. I like it already!

1916
Charles Hughes: 254 EV - 18 States = 218
Woodrow Wilson: 277 EV - 30 States = 217

I have West Virginia at Hughes-5, Wilson-1 (it was originally 7-1)

1876
Samuel Tilden: 184 EV - 17 States = 150
Rutherford Hayes: 185 EV - 21 States = 143

1796
John Adams: 54
Thomas Jefferson: 53

I have:
PA: J-14, A-1
MD: A-5, J-2, Both-1
VA: J-18, A-1
NC: J-9, A-1

No other elections would have changed
