My university is dead wrong with Rendell hitting 60%.  Tongue  I post this as I wear a Temple t-shirt, too.

In all seriousness, Rendell won't get to 60% but probably close to it.

I think people are underestimating Swann.  Here out west, I haven't seen one Rendell sign, but I've seen  tons of Swann signs.  Swann supporters out here are much more enthusiastic than Rendell supporters.  I think Allegheny County will only go 53-47 or so for Rendell.  It might be the only county he wins out here.  I think Rendell will end up winning 56-44 or so.

That's exactly what I'd say for the race right now.

And that is bad news for Santorum.

Pretty pathetic that you feel the need to stop by to say that you think he is in trouble.

Ok so why do you feel the need to come back out of no where just to get on Santorum's case?

Not really.  I was just reading the boards and felt like commenting.  I did not know there was a rule against that.

If you were more frequent in your forum usage you'd know that any negative comments concerning Santorum were abolished months ago.

I think this poll is way overstating Rendell's support... that said, this race is, for all intents and purposes, over.  Swann's people have run what could possibly be the worst campaign in the history of the state... worse than Fisher in '02, because Swann, unlike Fisher, has so much promise as a candidate.

While the exact margin is off, Im sure, this one is enough wide margins in a row to feel really good about this race. The opinions changed alot here in rural Berks. At our annual community fair (the best one ever, btw) we must have handed out more Rendell signs than any other sign ever. And the area usually votes Republican. However, we may have reverse coattails, as our state rep candidate for the Dems is looking really sharp.

Swann probably wil lose this race either by 10 or 20 pts and he was a weak candidate and his candidacy never got off the ground.
