Middle Tennessee State University Poll:

Likely Voters:

Corker: 43%
Ford: 42%
Undecided: 16%

Registered Voters:

Ford: 40%
Corker: 35%
Undecided: 24%

The poll was conducted by telephone Sept. 19-30, 2006 by students in the College of Mass Communication at Middle Tennessee State University. Students interviewed 549 people age 18 or older chosen at random from the state population. The poll has an estimated error margin of ± about 4 percentage points at the 95% level of confidence.

How accurate is this pollster?  Its not like this result isn't believable, Corker is probably marginally ahead but undecideds will be greater because of the success of Ford's campaign.  He has managed to at least attract potential voters who would lean GOP in Tennessee.

Well its a University poll but it seems to have similar results compared to all of the other recent polls on this race. Ford is clearly in command. Lets just hope everyone doesn't chicken out in the booth and vote for the white guy.

I don't think this is accurate. The polling span of 11 days is too many.
