How would you describe someone who voted for Richard Nixon in 1968 and then George McGovern in 1972?

Someone who felt Humphrey wasn't liberal enough. Maybe someone in South Dakota. There were a few Nixon/McGovern counties nationally...Pitkin County, CO, went for Nixon by nearly twenty points and McGovern by 10, so I imagine there were many such voters there (though Nixon got more raw votes in 1972 than in 1968).

Thought Nixon would end the Vietnam War sooner than Humphrey and liked McGovern’s opposition to the Vietnam War.
