Nancy Pelosi's term "Culture of Corruption" is not limited to the Republicans.  Some Democrats such as Rep. Bill Jefferson of Louisiana and now Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is under question of ethics violations.

The polls show that Democrats are only SLIGHTLY more ethical than Republicans.

I've got a feeling that the ethics violations in both parties may cancel each other out and leave us with Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, perhaps Darfur, and domestic issues.

I'm a Democrat, but I will acknowledge ethical issues in my party.  This one happens to involve who could be the Senate Majority Leader of the 110th Congress.

The polls show that Democrats are only SLIGHTLY more ethical than Republicans.

That should read "The polls show that the public views the Democrats as SLIGHTLY more ethical than Republicans."  Just to be technically correct.  Smiley

Jefferson has somewhere around a dozen Democrats challenging him. The state party endorsed Karen Carter.

As for Reid, some boring accounting error that was fixed, who cares.

No you're not.  And William Jefferson isn't the Democratic endorsed candidate in his district either.  We're getting rid of the warmongers like Lieberman and we're getting rid of the corrupt scum like Jefferson.

This is not going to be the year when Democrats care very much about the ethics or lack thereof of their candidates.  Just FYI.

As long as the Democrats are ethical once they are in control of the Senate, the House or both that's what is important

At the end of the day, what's done is done as far as both 'unethical' Democrats and Republicans are concerned

Move forward Smiley

Of course he's a democrat. He's even our great candidate for Oklahoma House. I too acknowledge that both parties have some bad apples but it seems like the whole GOP grove is.
