Why is the NYGOP doing so poorly? I don't recall Pataki being particularly unpopular, at least not to this extent.

Pataki isn't popular anymore and he would get destroyed as well, (though not this bad)

Spitzer is VERY WELL liked across the state and the state GOP decided to take a page out of the National GOP's playbook and make a sharp right turn with Faso, and well that doesn't work in new York.

I have noticed Pataki's (as well as the state GOP in general) decline in support during my visits to the city, but I had no idea it would have been this bad.

The NYGOP decided to reject the northeastern Rockefeller Republicans, instead going for the super conservative crowd that is nonexistant. This causes the old GOP to vote Democratic.

I didn't say he wouldn't win. But I highly doubt they would actually let a dead guy be governor. Tongue

There was one.  It was how Spitzer's taxes would crush Upstate New York (all our ads are about taxes up here Roll Eyes).  It went off pretty quickly though since Faso has no money.  And these rain storms are great!  It just rained like a mother the last few hours!

Your 8% sales tax disgusts me. I hate it. Whenever I estimate prices for stuff I'm always short like 20 cents because I'm still stuck on a reasonable 6% ST.

But Carousel is nice...how do you manage with the under 18 restriction? Or is that something the red jackets don't really enforce?

The title of this made me chuckle a little.

It's like saying the sky is "likely" blue.
