Federal Elections of October 2006Voting begins Friday, 6 pm default forum time and concludes exactly 72 hours later. Please do not vote in this thread before this time. Use the absentee voting thread instead. The elections will be held in concurrence with the Consolidated Electoral System Reform Act and, of course, the Second Constitution. If you have any questions about voting or this election in general, please send me a Personal Message or ask in the Jim Fritz Memorial SoFA Thread. Be sure of your ballot before submitting. Editing or deleting and reposting your ballot will result in the invalidation of your vote. Campaigning in this thread will result in the invalidation of your vote. Voting is conducted using instant runoff voting. Rank candidates in order of preference. You may choose candidates listed on the ballot or you may write in the name of persons not listed on the ballot. You may list as many persons as you wish or you may select None of the Above. To be eligible to vote, you must have registered to vote 10 days prior to the commencement of this election and must have made at least 25 posts in the 8 weeks (56 days) prior to the commencement of the regular election. For senate elections, please refer to the following map to determine which election you are eligible to vote in. Residents of Puerto Rico should vote in the Southeast races. The official ballot will appear in the next post.
