Okay, I think I should put up a note so that no one gets confused: According to Section III, Article I, Clause I, no more propositions can be added to the ballot. However Section II, Article II, Clause II does give any deadline for the revised Election Regulations. So, if we adjourn before October 20th they will appear on here, after that and they will appear on the December ballot.

Renaming the Midwest States Proposition1. The states of the Midwest shall be renamed as follows:
Iowa shall henceforth be known as the State of Confusion.
Minnesota shall henceforth be known as the State of Happiness.
South Dakota shall henceforth be known as the State of Awe.
Montana shall henceforth be known as the State of Exhilaration.
North Dakota shall henceforth be known as the State of Shock.
Nebraska shall henceforth be known as the State of Curiosity.
Oklahoma shall henceforth be known as the State of Elation.
Wyoming shall henceforth be known as the State of Optimism.
Colorado shall henceforth be known as the State of Denial.
Kansas shall henceforth be known as the State of Enthusiasm.
2. Any member who is or was a citizen of the Midwest for a period of over three months shall have a city named in their honor. This includes any citizen who meets this requirement after this proposition is enacted.
Midwestern Birthday Cake and Legalization of Prostitution PropositionSection 1: Prostitution shall be legalized in the Midwest region, save where specifically prohibited by state or municipal law.
Section 2: All prostitutes must be over the age of 20 years, and must sign a legal statement that their actions are voluntary.
Section 3: Prostitutes are forbidden to have customers under the age of 18. Any state, county, or municipal statutory limitations will also apply.
Section 4: No establishment where more than 3 prostitutes conduct their transactions with clients, nor one that is newly established in a non-residential structure, shall be permitted to be established within 200 yards of a public school; nor any private school or house of religious authority which files an objection. State and local governments may establish stricter regulation.
Section 5: State and local governments shall have the right to regulate the prostitution industry, including for health and safety purposes. Such regulations may include, but are not limited to:
- Requiring use of a registered location while engaging in business (i.e. forbidding 'street work');
- Requiring mandatory drug and venereal disease tests;
- Mandating use of contraceptive devices during business activities;
- Implementing limits on prostitution stricter then those specified in Sections 1 to 3 of this act.
Section 6: Where no state or local regulations exist as per Section 4, the following regulations shall be followed:
- Female prostitutes engaging in sexual intercourse with a male customer will be required to either use pregnancy-prevention contraceptives (including birth control, a condom, or a diaphragm) or sign a legal document beforehand waiving the right to seek child support from the customer.
- Female customers engaging in sexual intercourse with a male prostitute will be required to either use pregnancy-prevention contraceptives (including birth control, a condom, or a diaphragm) or sign a legal document beforehand waiving the right to seek child support from the prostitute.
- All prostitutes shall be required to utilize condoms during any sexual activity, unless both the customer and the prostitute sign a legal statement waiving any right to legal action if a venereal disease is transmitted through the act.
- Prostitutes shall be required to obtain testing for venereal diseases, including HIV, once a month. If a venereal disease is detected, the prostitute is forbidden from seeing further customers, until and unless the disease is no longer present or is in a noncommunicable stage.
Section 7: The Midwestern Regional government, as well as state, county, and municipal governments, shall have the right to tax the services given by the prostitution industry.
Section 8: Every citizen of the state shall, on their birthday, receive an 8" diameter, 4" high frosted cake of their favorite flavor, with 'Happy Birthday, [insert name of citizen here]' written on the cake in icing.
