First the Dem internal, then Mason-Dixon, now this? I... am... speechless. If these polls are in the ballpark, this race may even lean Democratic now. Try to let that sink in without your head exploding. Tongue

I've been reading Brady's website, and he seems like my kind of Democrat. He opposes gun control, supports raising the minimum wage, wants to expand preschool programs. I see no mention of abortion, so he must be pro-choice. Wink Surprisingly, he's made conservation a central issue:

Butch Otter wears his anti-environmentalism on his sleeve. Over a period of eight years, Otter was fined three times for damaging wetlands on his own property in Star, Idaho. After his third bulldozing offense, he was fined $80,000 by the EPA. Today, Otter shrugs off the episode as an attempt by federal environmentalists to “save some noxious weeds and bugs.” Otter has one of the lowest ratings in congress by the League of Conservation Voters. He has voted to drill for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and the Great Lakes, while also voting to ease regulation on polluters.

I love this guy! In fact, his banner is now going in my sig. Smiley

Wow...I'm still betting on Otter, but this is definitely a tossup now.

There's still a lot of undecideds in this poll. They will probably lean towards the Republicans just based on previous voting history.

I am actually going to flip this one now.

Considering Kansas, Wyoming and Oklahoma though, this isn't necessarily that shocking.

The Seattle Times went over the gubernatorial races just yesterday I think, and they said that the only open Republican governor's seat that was solidly Republican was Idaho.

I guess they were wrong.
