Was the NDP Again. Now...personally its a little difficult since I sympathize with elements in the Tories and Liberals...but being the 3rd party, again, was fun.

Final Result-155 Seats to Form Majority
Party                Seats    Popular Vote
Conservative    112       4,202,150 (29%)
Liberal               85        4,400,368 (30%)
New Democrat   40       3,514,103 (24%)
Bloc Quebec       71       2,346,393 (16%)

Conservatives won a plurality of seats in the following Provinces:
Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia

Liberals won a plurality of seats in the following Provinces:
Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, New Foundland and Labrador, Nunavut, Northwest Territory

New Democrats: Yukon, won most votes in British Columbia...but only 8 seats to Tory-18 and Liberal 9

Bloc: Quebec

I am Jack Layton the Tricky! Yarrr!

That's better than me. I barely got Party status with the NDP. I acchieved the bare minimum of 12 seats. Is there any strategy I should follow in this game.

Found that planting spies in both the Liberal and Tory camps helps...then running scandals.

Spent my campaign time in Ontario and British Columbia...targeted ridings mostly in ON and BC...with some of the maritimes.

Ran on the issue of corruption. That was a hot issue in my campaign.

And get yourself some crusaders...at the worst...2...3 or more is better

I've played it 3 times as the LPC and I got 133 seats each time.

I played once as the CPC and I got trashed.

I just formed a Minority Government with the Conservative Party. It was a glorious victory as the the NDP toke votes and seats away from Liberal Ridings. Paul Martin's own Mount Royal Seat was taken away from the Bloc.

Actually I am an American. I just happen to follow the UK, Australian, EU and canadian Elections. Here are the Ridings for each of the leaders.

Paul Martin- Mount Royal, Quebec
Stephen Harper- Calgary Southwest, Alberta
Gilles Duceppe- Laurier - Sainte-Marie, Quebec
Jack Layton- Currently does not have a seat in the House of Commons. He is running for a seat in the House of Commons in the Riding of Toronto-Danforth.

Woot for the NDP.

Final Results:
Martin (L): 53 Seats-27%
Harper (C): 122 Seats-30%
Layton (NDP): 64 Seats-26%
Duceppe (BQ): 69 Seats-15%

I managed to win 29 seats in BC Grin

Other miscellaneous junk: Harper 'won' New Brunswick with 5 seats, and Ontario with 63 (!!!).  Northwest Territory was a swing near the end, but voted Martin.

But, unfortunatly, Harper formed a minority gov't Sad

However, this game beat my BQ score (by 9 pts), so I'm happy Smiley

Well...I don't know...both Pres4ever and PM4ever only allow 4 parties.

Assuming the first 3 parties are the big national parties...who would they allow for the 4th? or will they modify it by then?

If I had my choice...I'd probably go with SNP/PC first...then UUP

Well, there's going to be only Labour, the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats, and some unknown party.  So I bet he'll play as the Lib Dems or the Huh Party.

I'd actually guess UKIP or BNP...a right leaning party to balance out the Tories.

I assumed they would have to change the format of the game to include more parties because they are more sucessfull than minor parties in the US, Canada, and Australia.

Until you can win all the ridings in QC, then you can't call yourself skilled. I did it, including Paul Martins' seat, as the BQ.

I ended up 55% higher then Martin in QC, but he still won the election.

BTW, has anyone found outr what happens if nobody has a majority?

Yay!

Until you can win all seats in ONT as a Lib, and win the election, you are not great.
