Well, it was definitely not the year of the moderate Republican - they basically don't exist any more in Congress.

That's a myth. Only 4 conservatives were elected dems this year. The rest were liberal.

Correct conan!  Most of the gains were in the Northeast and Middle West, not the South.
The conservatives came from Indiana and North Carolina.

What about Carney, Altmire, McCaskill, Webb and Casey?

So you're claiming that a lot of Democcrats are conservatives. Then who needs the Republican party? Gotcha.
