Which do you perfer: Rocky or Rambo?

Somewhat unbelievably, I've never seen any of either series of movies.

Good for you. Neither have I.

I don't really think either is worth the while, considering what other things there are in life, but if I had to watch one of them I would pick Rocky which at least some people find good. Rambo...ugh.

I like them both, but Rocky wins hands down.  Better story, better charecters, better dialog (as jmf pointed out), more motivational, I get into it more.

Stallone= terrible actor, unless he is playing either Rocky, Rambo or the guy in Cliffhanger, but he is a brillant writter, and that is why Rocky is so good.

Brilliant writer sounds a little over the top to me...I think one should have written at the very least a novel or two before being termed a brilliant writer.

Brilliant screenwriter... its a different gift.  He manages to convey a lot of meaning through simple words, which is very hard to do.  He can write the way people acctually talk and still make you feel like something important is happening.

Well, I haven't seen any of his movies so I don't really now. I doubt it's as good as some of the screenplays I've come into contact with though.
