One of my liberal friends from Maryland said that we could find his picture in the dictionary under "boring". And he even thought Glendenning was boring as a UM prof as well (yes he is a former student of the former governor!).

I read the wikipedia profile for him and it sounded like he was a failure as Governor.

I remember hearing that he was very unpopular in his second term, and a lot of people attributed the 2002 Democratic nominee Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's defeat against Bob Ehrlich to this (she had been the Lieutenant Governor).
