Because I checked out America Votes 7 (with the latest info being from 1966), we get this

Alabama: 34-1 Dem in the Senate, 106-0 Dem in the House
Arkansas: 35-0 Dem in the Senate, 98-2 Dem in the House
Florida: 28-20 Dem in the Senate, 70-40 Dem in the House
Georgia: 46-7-1 Dem in the Senate, 183-22 Dem in the House
Louisiana: 39-0 Dem in the Senate, 103-2 Dem in the House
Mississippi: 51-1 Dem in the Senate, 120-2 Dem in the House
South Carolina: 44-6 Dem in the Senate, 107-17 Dem in the House
Tennessee: 25-8 Dem in the Senate, 59-39-1 Dem in the House
Texas: 30-1 Dem in the Senate, 147-3 Dem in the House

Wanna guess where Republicans had respectable showings in 1966?

Although LA and MS last had elections in 1963 at the time this came out.

Back then, Southern Republicans were doing best in the Appalachians (E. Tennessee especially) and in South Florida.

Plus, Baker won a Senate seat in 1966.

South Carolina: 44-6 Dem in the Senate, 107-17 Dem in the House

Must be an error there.  There are only 46 Senators in the South Carolina Senate (1 for each county) and while they are no longer elected on the basis of 1 per county since the one man-one vote cases of the 1960's, there are still just 46.
