Truman is honestly a very underrated historical figure in general, in a multitude of ways. It's impossible to not be intrigued and amused by all of the peculiar aspects of his political views, career, personality, attitude, background, and life in general. The more I read about the man, the more memorable of a character he becomes in my mind.
