Did Ralph Nader finish second in any county in 2000?

I don't know about counties, but in Alaska, which doesn't have any, he got quite a few second places and a handful of first places in precincts. There's one outside Juneau that voted approximately Nader 55, Gore 30, Bush 15. If I remember right it wasn't that small either...Small but not that small.
Thanks.

I've checked thoroughly and there is not any county where Nader came second or topped 20%.
He topped 10% in 24 Counties, in 13 of Alaska's 40 House Districts, and among the Overseas vote in Hawaii, which does not get allocated on a county basis.
His highest county result is 17,2% in San Miguel County, Colorado. His highest Alaskan HD result is 18,5% in the 29th.

Thanks Smiley

Nader top five from Dave's Atlas

San Miguel CO 17,0 %
Missoula MT 15,03 %
Grand UT 14,94 %
Mendocino CA 14,68 %
Hampshire MA 14.59 %

It seems that Nader did his best in American Indian areas and counties with big universities.
It's strange that Nader's top three counties were in Bush states.  Thanks for the info.

Good point, if 10,000 people vote for Nader in Wyoming that's a high percentage.

I know a precinct isn't a county, but In Election District 35 in Alaska, Nader finished second in the precinct of Whittier.

And first in the precinct of Peninsula/Chilkat. It's in the Northern panhandle, I've forgotten which district. There's at least half a dozen precincts in the panhandle where he came second.

I seem to have missed that Sad
