Yes, Lewis is right.

My parents met each other at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, which is right across the river from Fargo, moved to Fargo after graduating, my dad then got a job on the Standing Rock Reservation so they moved there shortly before I was born, then moved to Bismarck when I was 8-9 basically to get me out of the Reservation's education system and so my brothers wouldn't have to enter it. Lived there until I graduated high school.

North Dakotans call it a mountain... everyone else calls it highway 2.

HA HA HA HA.

BRTD.. I can't blame your parents for wanting to keep you away from reservation schools... a large percentage of "rez" kids were bussed into my school district because they didn't have the opportunities in their schools that they had elsewhere.

Does the turnout map say which group had the highest turnout or which group made up the biggest share of voters? I suspect it is the latter, but the heading indicates the former.

He means the highest turn-out as a percent of voters, not as party members.

Lots of states have no party registration.

North Dakota has no voter registration period.. and neither does Wisconsin, I believe.

I get a hard when I remember how the under 30's voted in Mississippi in 2004 Wink

Now if we elect Eaves governor and he gives free college in exchange for staying in the state, we'll stop having the mass exodus out of the state of people in their 20's, and we might actually get to be that Democratic state in 20-30 years.

It can come as no surprise that the youths who exhibit a tendency to think will both a) vote Democratic, and 2) leave their boring, stultifying home towns.
