Confederation of Regions; a short-lived right wing party that did very well in rural (Anglophone) New Brunswick in the early '90's. The same voters that went with CoR are also behind the surprisingly high numbers the CA was able to poll in parts of New Brunswick in 2000.

I say it would fail in New Jersey 46-54.  The reason you see less outright opposition to things like gay marriage in Jersey has more to do with apathy about such issues than liberalism.  I'm sure conservative groups would try and turn their voters out but most New Jerseyans look at the prospect of gay marriage and have a sense of "ummmm..... sure, why not?" (if that makes any sense)
