I'll post this officially.  What Hollywood studio head refered to the "Grapes of Rath" as being "Commie-Pinko."

Hint:

He was known to be drawn to conservative candidates and was a delegate to at least one GOP Convention.

Truman once said that that he liked one of his stars, but he wouldn't vote for him (1952).
