A moderate-liberal (?) Republican vs. a conservative Democrat.

What would the electoral map look like?

Who is 'Hostetter'?  Do you mean John Hostettler, the former Republican representative?

The congressman from IN-08. You know, the guy who won 61-39 against an incumbent.

You might want to look up who that incumbent was.

I'm not sure I feel up to drawing such a giant swath of red.  Let's just say that one candidate is a popular, accomplished, former two-term Governor who has served in congress for nearly two decades; another is a first-term Representative who is otherwise best known for being the Sheriff of Vanderburgh County, Indiana.
