Penn State is in the wrong conference. They are totally being dominated there. They need to be in the Big lEast. The Big lEast is rebuilding now that they lost Miami and VT.

PA is not a college football state and most of the Northeast corridor isn't either.  Most of us look to the midwest or South for teams we like.  You're rigth Penn State has to boot JoePa and move to the Big East and Temple (my alma mater) needs to drop to I-AA with Villanova.

Well, like I said, we are not a college football state.  In fact the Philly metro area is a college basketball area.  Our Big 5 schools (Temple, St.Joe's, LaSalle, U of Penn, and Villanova) are nationally recognized.  My brother went ot St. Joe's and graduated in 2003 (guess the keynote speaker?).

The Big LEAST is TOAST! Penn State would be foolish to jump to a LOSER!

In football, they are toast. In basketball, look out.

Depends on what part.  Southeast of DC and the Eastern Shore, most definitely yes.  It's main population centers.. no.

I'd add a third piece of the puzzle. The western panhandle is much more like northern WV and southwest PA.

Definitely -- western Maryland is actually very nice, especially Washington County -- some nice lakes/hiking trails up there.
