This:

Yep. Extremely so. A monument to bad taste and sterile imagination.

Inspired me.  Would everyone please contribute photos of what they consider 'good architecture'.  I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert on the subject, and I would like to be educated.

I think the 1970's ranch house is underappreciated:

Decent typical St. Louis apartment buildings:

And here's a link to a tourist's drive around St. Louis with an eye for architecture:

I like the upstate NY look. Here's an $1800 house:

Personally I like the old Japanese architecture. It's especially nice when the grounds surrounding the building are well done.

Greek and Roman are also pretty nice.

Spaceship Earth:

Bank of China Tower:

I know this is more engineering than architecture, but I tend to find cable-stayed bridges to be aesthetically pleasing. Here's the Dames Point Bridge, in Jacksonville, Florida:

Here's Sky City, a proposed megastructure that would be located in Tokyo:

If I could find images of houses that I think are really nice, I'd put them up. the problem is that most of the housing industry is pretty much stuck in the 19th century. Houses are built today in much the same way they were 100 years ago, and are styled as if they were parodies of Victorian houses (except that some now have aluminum siding, instead of wood, brick, or stone). I thought about the Dymaxion house, but I'm not sure if unpainted metal is the way to go either.

I've also always liked the architecture behind the Deutsche Bank towers in Frankfurt, Germany:

Obligatory, but I agree with you that it's a fine piece of architecture.

I would also like to say that the proposed Chicago Spire will be the coolest-looking building ever if completed according to the artist's impression:

I've got to agree.  There is sculpture in Center City Philadelphia that looks like a clothespin.  Everyone calls it the clothespin.

If this gets built, it is going to be known as the "twisted dick."

You know the kind of winds you get around these things? There's people living on the northern side of that block!

I've got to agree.

More like a vibrator, actually.

I like Art Deco, classicism (unless it's too gharish) and quit a lot of modernist architecture; when it is built of sturdy, durable materials such as the Newcastle Civic Cente. I'll post pictures of what I like later.

You have great taste in buildings Lewis (or at least my taste Wink), even if the second-to-last is a little Hansel and Gretel.  But this is Germany, eh?
