In Northeast Legislature,

My fellow Members of of the Northeast, In order to create accountability in the Northeast region and so that we may know precisely what the governor is doing. I propose we set up a governor's question time so we can know more of the Governor's agenda.

The bill shall read as follows:

The Governor of the Region will stand at least once a week in the Legislature to answer questions from members of the legislature. Any Member of the legislature shall be alowed to ask the Governor questions outside of this question period.

This is probably the worst legislation I have ever seen proposed to the Senate. It is waste of the government's money...

How can citizens know what the Governor is doing if the Governor just tells the Senate what he is up to? Tongue

I find the waste of money here to be negligible. We are holding the governor accountable by forcing him to answer questions from members of the Northeast legislature.

King, Justin is proposing this legislation to the Northeast Legislature, not the Senate, no worries.

While in normal circumstances I would support this bill whole heartedly, I have to wonder if it would be effective. We have a similar system for Gustaf, but I haven't seen a Q&A with him in weeks, nor did Nym continue the tradition. It's my observation that it lasts for a week or two then is largely ignore or forgotten. I would ammended it that at anytime the people of the Northeast can put anything to a question to the Governor.

I have amended it, per the Rt. Honorable Lt. Governor's request.
