BUMP.. Another far right map..



31 years of the far right in (Greater) London.. Interestingly enough both parties got 5.3% in each of these elections, which allows for a more-or-less direct comparison of how the distribution of the far-right vote has changed over the last 3 decades..

Those would be Jains I would guess. IIRC there is a huge Gujarati population in the Brent,Harrow and Barnett area. There is also a concentration of Jains in Gujarat and I am sure a lot of them in the UK follow it as well.

I think the non-print media have, but whenever the tabloids go for it there's the inevitable lefty backlash.  Clearly from that map - insofar as electoral statistics prove anything - there has been a movement towards the outer fringes/Essex/Kent, but that in itself does not provide suggestions for the BNP vote.

However the fact that the percentages are so similar after a generation seems to show not so much of a rise as we would think from the MEP results....
