Quite a few people come to mind as being good additonal choices - Gore being the most obvious one.

Others include individuals like Warner, Bayh, and Feinstein.

Russ Feingold before anyone else.

Al Gore and Mark Warner also come to mind.

Wesley Clark is still my favorite proposed candidate. Gore has plenty going for him too, though I think like Hillary nominating him could mobilize the right a lot more and potentially cost us the election. Bayh I generally agree with, but I don't think would be a good choice. I think his somewhat ambiguous stance on Iraq would cost him a lot of moderate votes. And his DLC background would alienate our base too much. Maybe he could run in another 4 or 8 years after this whole Iraq mess is over with.

Wes Clark is a good guy but he seems to lack even the most basic political skills.

Question:

Anyone support something to the far-left that isn't in the race other than Feingold?  I think Howard Dean would be an interesting choice, although even he isn't that liberal

My allegience is to Al Gore should he enter the race.
Currently I support Edwards.
If Feingold, Edwards, and Warner were in, and Al wasn't, I'd be torn on who to vote for.
