Now that Michael Bloomberg is "unaffiliated" with any political party, a potential ticket of either Dobbs/Bloomberg or Bloomberg/Dobbs is a possibility, at least for those who dream of a strong independent ticket for '08.

Please discuss potential implications for '08 of such a ticket, and whether you prefer Dobbs/Bloomberg or Bloomberg/Dobbs, or neither.

I prefer Bloomberg/NotDobbs. Realistically, I can't see the pragmatist slightly-right-of-center economically and socially liberal Bloomberg teaming up with the populism, left-wing economics and nationalism of Dobbs.

Why would both run together? Anyway it's looks like the ticket will be Bloomberg-Hagel if he runs.

Of course, If Dobbs also runs.. Four horse race!

Why Dobbs? Just because he's the only pundit on TV who doesn't always take the large corporation view on every issue doesn't mean that he'd be a good President (or VP).

Bloomberg and Dobbs' only voting demographic overlap is those who are itching to vote for an independent candidate.

I Prefer Dobbs/not Bloomberg. Bloomberg is a nanny state liberal, corprate/globalist. Dobbs is not left wing, he is Centrist.

It's all right if you forgot Dobbs was very left-wing economically. After all, he hasn't really mentioned anything but those damned wetbacks and those damn chinks on his show in years.
