If Lou takes the plunge, however unlikely this may be, and makes a Presidential run, who is the best, realitstic, VP running mate for him?

True, but he's right that Byron Dorgan is probably the ideologically closest Senator or, indeed, well-known politician to Dobbs. Paul obviously is not.

Dobbs Veep would probably be one of the chairmen of Buchanan's short lived America First Party. Dobbs, being the highloy populist and nationalist man he is, would most likely not want anyone tied to corporations, so an unknown chairman would be the best VP for him.
