I will almost certainly vote to confirm you. If Brandon wasn't running, you would have been my first preference.

That means a lot to me, thank you. Smiley

I congratulate Marokai, but this idea of making AG a consolation prize for those that lose senate races is not comforting Tongue

I continue to urge Marokai to move to the Mideast to run against HappyWarrior

Partisan Makup of the ConCon (Pacific and Midwest included in parentheses):
DA 6
RPP 5 (6)
JCP 0 (3)
SDP 1 (3)
Other 0 (2)

A very broad partisan composition, which I believe will lead to a better result, however it must be remembered that the ConCon is about improving the gameplay and doesn't have a partisan application. I am pleased to see the diversity of the individuals who are likely to comprise the ConCon, there is a good mix of experience and newer players.

It's not that surprising though when the office keeps vacating around election time.

I'm supporting HappyWarrior. He told me he was going to run for the position back when I first decided I was going to run. Besides that I told my fellow members in the Midwest that if I was elected I wouldn't support DWTL for Senate, which probably helped a few cast their votes for me.

And what really tipped the balance against you DWTL is your arrogance in assuming you'd get the job. I really have nothing personal against you but you really are way too arrogant to many around here. Just because there are 5 RPP Senators doesn't mean we'll support you for a nonpartisan job when HW will be fine activity wise for the job. In the end it really came down to the arrogance you showed toward assuming you had this job.

I'm sorry that I assumed that giving my party line to you over another qualified candidate, dead0man, was certainly enough for a PPT vote.  I still don't see the problem with arrogance, this is nothing more than a game.  This is like getting mad at WRs who do excessive TD celebrations

Isn't part of the game knowing how to get people to like you? You need to learn how to push the right buttons at the right time. Otherwise you just won't play the game well.

I don't see what you don't understand in ''PPT is a NON-PARTISAN office.''

Non-partisan means than parties are not relevant to the office and to the election. There is no thing like a party in a PPT election. People should vote the better candidate, not for the party, since a PPT takes no issues and policies decisions. He is only managing the Senate.

If you don't understand that, I'm not sure than you will be an impartial, fair and good PPT, who will work for Atlasia and for the Senate and not for his party.

I'm not a senator, but this is my point of view.

Please don't play low-level politics like ''I endorsed you, now support me''. That is a little bit too ''machine politics''.

PPT Race is On; Afleitch Begins Senate Campaign
by South Park Conservative

The race for the next Senate PPT has tightened, with DWTL having the endorsement of himself, SPC, PiT, and Smid, and Happywarrior having the endorsement of himself, Franzl, MasterJedi, and BaconKing. RealisticIdealist, Lief, and Meeker will likely be the deciding votes. Senator BaconKing vowed to resign if DWTL became PPT.
In other news, Afleitch became the first non-incumbent to enter the national Senate race next month.

Several Atlasians Call for Earl's Resignation
by South Park Conservative

Since the petition for Earl to be fired and/or resign was circulated a few days ago by yours truly, 10 Atlasians have signed on to the petition, including 4 Senators, 1 Governor, and 1 Cabinet member. As of yet, President Bgwah claims he wished to speak with Earl before making a final decision.

Senators Can't Read And/Or Tell Time

In a somewhat embarassing move, Sens. DWTL and SPC failed to notice that the vote for PPT began at 9:30 PST instead of 9:30 EST.  The question still must be begged whether or not the vote will open at 12:30 EST, which is in fact currently 1:30 PM as we are in EDT and PDT

Well, I was expecting a 6-4 until BendictJedi came out in favor of HappyWarrior, so barring something unlikely we most likely should see a Meeker tie-breaking vote

I have no loyalty to you at all. I stand for my ideals and the RPP is what's best for that. So that also means I'm not going to tow the RPP line 100% of the time or vote for you if you're being a complete arrogant ass like you were earlier. I already said you had my vote until you got arrogant. Maybe it'll teach you something though I doubt it.

The only lesson learned here is no to trust anyone.  I gave you my full out support, in fact, I asked dead0man to support you despite him wanting to run a campaign of his own.  There was nothing arrogant about what I said, your are basically trying to say that Harry Reid was arrogant to assume that he would become majority leader.

I extended my hand out and you slapped it
