There. I said it. People already have an opinion of these two men, and no amount of ads or ground game will change that. Trump already has healthy leads in the NPV and swing states according to polling. I don't think anything can change the fact that people just really hate Biden, and see Trump as the lesser evil after everything. Even a conviction doesn't change anything in the long term, because everyone already knows Trump's a criminal; they either don't care or are already voting for Biden.

Biden's only hope is a massive, systematic polling error in his favor, and he needs it against a candidate who's greatly outperformed his polls twice. It's looking pretty bleak.

If you served as one you will know how close a Trump 3 lead is it's 150K votes and any amount of a batch of Provisions ballots can wipe that out. Just because I live in CA or a safe D state doesn't mean diddly squat the same rule applies to all swing state

The average person does not like Biden. He was only elected because Trump mangled the handling of a once in the lifetime pandemic. Biden is not charismatic. He doesn't know how to effectively market himself. He doesn't know how to sell his accomplishments. He suffers from an image problem. He barely holds press conferences compared to his immediate predecessors. He isn't Obama, he isn't Bill Clinton. He's not inspiring or charismatic or charming nor is he himself a particularly activist President. His administration may be, but he isn't.

No, they really haven't. The polls have been remarkably stable for a long time now. There are always going to be small shifts in the average due to statistical noise and polls falling in and out of the average. The basic picture is that Trump has solid leads in enough swing states to secure a pretty easy win despite only holding a narrow NPV lead, just like Obama in 2012.

SnowLabrador might be a perennial doomer, but he's absolutely right about this one. Biden is losing and we need something pretty dramatic to change that.

Polls could improve but it would take a HUGE improvement for Biden to become the favorite, which is especially unlikely because polls have been incredibly stable for the last 3 months, only moving around +-1%
