If Badnarik ran as a Republican against Kerry and was able to get 50% of the vote, what states would he win?

Likewise, what states would Badnarik win as a Democrat vs. Bush?

I will be friendly to Kerry and assume that Edwards helps him out a lot in the south, mid-west and Pennsylvania.

Badnarik 285
Kerry/Edwards 253

against Bush

Bush 323
Badnarik 215

Badnarik would DEFINATELY win Nevada against Bush. Possibly Arizona and Alaska too.

And he would not win California as a Republican.

Badnarik would probably do well in states like Montana, and poorly in the deep south.

id vote for kerry.

i hope the republicans would have enough sense not to nominate someone who advocates the legalization of drugs.  even more disturbing to me is the libertarians isolationist foreign policy.  that is truly fantasy land stuff.

i dislike the government as much as any libertarian.  but im also a realist.  i cant deny that the government has done some good things.  if it werent for federal government intervention, how long would it have taken the south to desegregate?

and if it werent for the federal government there would never have been the "seperate but equal" idea...  see  Plessy vs Ferguson.... its that case that created the ok for segregation
