As I have said, as Inks has said, their is no war with Canada. And I would never abandon the troops.

"Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.  Eastasia is an ally."

Dammit, I did that post first and then deleted it. I thought it might be going too far in baiting gporter.

Time is an illuminati conspiracy. It has always been 1939 and will always be 1939.

Thanks to Gabu and Wikipedia, I now know who Jack Benny was.

You mean to tell me that wasn't actually a reference to him?  He was a comedian way back in the days of black and white television, and one of his things was to always repeatedly claim to be 39 even when everyone knew that he was much older than that.  One of my favorite lines from that running gag was him telling a woman, "This relationship will never work out.  You're 20 and I'm 39.  And in 40 years, you'll be 60 and I'll be 39."

If your reference wasn't intentional, it certainly bore a remarkable resemblance to that running gag of his. Tongue

LOL, I was referencing Hitler, since it was Stark, but Jack Benny works, too.

Good for them!!!  I do not like Colbert one bit.  I don't like the way he makes fun of my President and never makes fun of any Democrats.  I never watch his show on purpose.  I was only forced to watch that creep while in Boston and he ticked me off so much I had to leave the room.

I am a Democrat, but I do not like ANYBODY making fun of my President, and especially only attacks one side.

Jay Leno, in my mind, is different.  At least he makes fun of both sides and, in my mind, is not intended to make anybody look bad.  Plus, I am used to Jay Leno as he took over for the man I grew up watching, Johnny Carson.

I thought he was only 25? How did he "grow up watching Johnny Carson"?

He grew up in Oklahoma. They only just reached 1987.

the solution for the cultural war:  afleitch has concluded sexual orientation can be altered by outside influences and/or choice, and that homosexuals are excluded from marrying!

Get your goddamn Bible war out of this thread.  kthx

Its always a Bible war...when can we get a Koran war or something else different around here.

I vote for a Ramayana war. The stories are much juicier.

You're going to make this result in a Kennedy loss aren't you?  Gonna have Johnson lose the primary and run as a third party candidate or something.

Wait and see.

Oh, and by the way, next time you type a post, use the spell check.

wtf?  I went over HappyWarrior's post three times and failed to find a single misspelled word.

Gonna? Huh

If that's a spelling mistake, then so is "don't" and "won't".

Well, gonna is a somewhat irregular contraction.

True, but as long as he's not writing in formal English, it's fine. This is the internet, where people use phrases such as "LOL" and "WTH" that are much worse.

"D-KY" is not equal to "D-AT" unless I missed that part in grade one.

You didn't learn that Kentucky=Austria in 1st grade? Where were you?

They look kinda alike if you squint and tilt your head 30 degrees Tongue

Hello and welcome to Jesus 101!

In the beginning, God created man. He was all like, "Dude, don't do that sh**t over there." But man was all "Whatever, man," and did it anyway (man was probably high). God was pissed and was like, "You idiot, now I have to send you to hell. I LOVE YOU!" Man was like "That's lame." So God felt a little bad and was like "Well just wait 2000 years I'll fix everything."

So 2000 years later this Jesus guy pops out and doesn't do any of that sh**t over there. God was like, "Jesus is so awesome, let's kill him so that man doesn't have to go to hell." So they killed Jesus and that was a serious bummer. But then Jesus popped out of the ground a few days later all like, "Pshh death is for pussies. Believe me and you can come hang out with God."

What the "Humble men" or whatever? I still don't understand what that was about.

Robert Stark (who you may remember as LouDobbs08) began telling us that he frequented Stormfront (a white nationalist forum). This got Straha to decide to organize a group of forumers as the "humble men", initially just to bait Stark but eventually to go around irritating everyone and declaring how fascist everyone was. In the end, it got bad enough that Straha was put on mod review and stopped posting; Stark was also put on mod review after a particularly racist outburst. Of course, the remaining "humble men" decided that the mods were being fascist for "banning" Straha, and for a while kept hijacking threads complaining about it.

Let's just say that at the end of the day, you'll definitley have 100% of precincts reporting.

They'll be recounting me all day long.

Although really that whole thread, inspirational BRTD quote included, belongs here.
