Clinton, though Nunn/Bloomberg winning wouldn't be that horrible. Thompson would be horrible, and Paul would be the worst President in our nation's history.

None of them. Guess I'll abstain from this poll

Paul would be better than Bush.

Well, at least Bush doesn't support a return to the gold standard, an abolition of the income tax, etc. and doesn't veto every spending bill.

I'm guessing that Jefferson and Jackson aren't very high on your list either. The inflation rate was 0% before the creation of the Federal Reserve, the income tax literally forces you to be a slave to the government half the time you work, while the uber rich get corporate welfare and exemptions at your expense. Again, most of those spending bills is money going to special interests at the expense of your tax dollar.

Clinton over Nunn, though I'd easily vote for Bloomberg/Nunn over Clinton.

I'll go with party loyalty and back Clinton/Bayh, though I'd give Nunn/Bloomberg strong consideration.

Because we all know Paul would be so effective at getting those things passed, right?

Paul wants a lot of dumb things that would never get passed, Bush wanted a lot of dumb things that did get passed and happened. Bush is far worse than Paul.

Ron Paul, though I'd hope he'd pick a stronger running mate. If the Independent ticket was reversed, I don’t think Thompson would get more then 40 percent, though Hillary might.

I'd go for Paul most likely if he could moderate himself a little.

Also congrats on not including Lou Dobbs in this poll.

Well, the Republican party + the Bush Dog Democrats has shown a wonderful propensity for doing whatever the hell their President tells them, no matter how ridiculous.

The problem is that too many are afraid of being attacked as "weak on terror" or whatever. But I really doubt anyone is seriously concerned that a vote against abolishing the Federal Reserve will doom their re-election chances.

But I'm sure he could come up with someone more palatable than Badnarik.
