In 1960, Kennedy would have been a good running mate for any of the Democrats you mentioned, provided he would have been interested. There was an attempt in 1960 by Stevenson partisans to put together a Stevenson-Kennedy ticket, but JFK was too close to sewing up the main prize to consider it.
