Greetings citizens of the Northeast. It's been awhile since I've been back in the Governor's mansion. I would first like to thank Governor Festoon and Lt. Governor Rin-Chan for their tremendous service to our region. They both served honorably and their reasons for resigning are understood. With that said there are several matters that have to be dealt with. First, we are without a Lt. Governor and Chief Judicial Officer. I will be accepting applications via private message if anyone is interested in either position. Please state in the PM what position you wish to seek and why you are seeking it. Second, there is a vacant Senate seat in the Northeast. I have not decided whether I will appoint someone or hold the non-binding election for Senate. If you wish to either be apart of the non-binding election, or just wish to seek it in case I appoint someone, please PM me as well. I will notify the region very soon with my decision.

This thread will serve as my office. Please use it wisely.

I would just like to state since I have yet to appoint someone, the office of Senator of the Northeast is currently vacant. I don't know why Rockefeller Republicans name says Acting Senator. Governor Festoon's appointment of an interim Senator is not valid.

Governor,

As Mr. Moderate said I urge you to call a Special Senate election immediently. The position needs filling and fast.

I have yet to even hear from people interested in the seat.

Last time I heard Verily and AndrewCT are interested in the seat. I was interested, but decided to withdraw.

I understand that, but I have not heard from them. If they are still interested in seeking the seat you should tell them to contact me.

Statement from the Governor:

As a former member of the Atlasian Senate I urge all members of the Northeast to vote NO on the Popular Initiative Amendment currently up for debate in the regions. If we want to be become a state with a National Initiative type system then lets become one. In the meantime we elect Senators to represent us in Nyman on our behalf. If you think you have a good idea for legislation contact them. This bill can only hurt the progress of the Senate.

I would also like to ask the people of the Northeast to support Lt. Governor Rockefeller Republican in his bid to continue leading the Northeast. Rock has been a solid Lt. Governor and a leader for this region. Please support him!

I have tasked Lt. Governor Rockefeller Republican to track down all the legislation passed regionally that is not on the records for Wikipedia. This is in response to the Northeastern Region Legislation Standardization Act. I would like to ask the sponsor to remove this bill if he wishes so that it does not impede the process of this. I hope to have a this resolved and a full wiki update within the next 2-3 weeks. Thank you.

Out of curiosity, have you announced in the official thread?  I couldn't find the announcement in there, though it's possible I may have missed it.

In the props thread? No, I didn't. I just posted a message saying look here.

No, in the Candidate Announcement Thread.  I meant, "have you announced for Governor in the official thread?"

Hmm, good question. I just declared again, I don't remember if I did it or not.

Good.  I wanted to endorse you, but I also wanted to wait until you actually declared.

So.
