Going to go out on a limb and say Illinois. They seem to have a good supply of moderate Republicans.

I'd say Washington. Very very socially left-wing, but more restrained on economic issues. Seems Washingtony to me.

I'll go with Virginia. I could see him doing well in a wealthy suburban area that isn't extremely liberal or conservative. Colorado would be a decent option as well, as would New Hampshire.

I want to say... Oregon.  You would probably lose in a New Hampshire Republican primary, but you are moderate enough to be liked by most Republicans and Independents in Oregon.
