Yeah, remember when Jimmy Carter led Reagan by, what was it, 18 points?  Or Mondale leading Reagan in 83/84 by 15 points?  Or how about when Michael Dukasis had a 20-point lead over Bush a year ahead of the election?   Yeah, those really turned out well for the Democrats, didn't it?

Because that follows that every early poll vastly overstates the Democrats you don't like.
