Vilsack or Bayh as her Vice Presidents.

With pickups in IA and NM almost 100% guaranteed, if Richardson runs for Senate later on. VA may still vote for the Republican over Clinton, while Warner is elected Senator.

Bayh or a moderate Southern/Midwestern Governor -- Mike Easley or Brad Henry, perhaps.

Richardson isn't running for the Senate, by the way. Nor is he running for VP (nor would he *get* it, considering how he's been performing).

maybe richardson runs in new mexico.

as far as i know is there no more term for him as governor and the seat in NM is open. if he likes to run, i'm sure he gets the nomination there.

Most likely Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh.

Disgusting. A populist. We don't need populist leaders.

BenNebbich, welcome to the forum.

Richardson could most definitely win the Democratic Senate nomination and the New Mexico Senate seat.

Warner would win the Virginia Senate seat if he runs.

I have said for some time that if Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee for President that she will pick Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana for Vice President.  I am convinced that is who she will go with.

In the Presidential election, Clinton has a good shot at winning New Mexico, but I believe Virginia will go Republican.

Definitely not a populist. Populists support the popular will of the common man. Bayh does not.

Bayh would be a completely terrible choice. According to ProgressivePunch, he is to the right of Joe Lieberman on issues of War & Peace.
