Only way Clinton has a chance of losing is if she loses Iowa, where she's currently favored to win.  Even if she does lose in Iowa, she's not out of the race, either.

So, Clinton.

Hillary Clinton, and I do not anticipate her being as fleeting as Howard Dean was four years ago at this time.

In fact, I am more interested in speculating whom she will pick as her running-mate, given that her nomination is all but won.....

Senator Clinton, as many of you guys have already said, has got the Democratic Presidential Nomination in the bag. I really thought it was going to be a contest, or should I say I hoped it would have been a contest between herself and Obama. The rest don't have a chance.

Finally forced myself to vote for Clinton but Obama could still win if he plays his cards right.

Hilldawg.  Every day I'm reminded why Barack Obama is not Presidential material and why Edwards gives me the worst feelings about my own kind.

you know, Rudy is right.   What, exactly, has Hillary ever done?  What has she accomplished in her political career?  In her life, for that matter?  Has she ever managed or run anything, like a state, a business?  The same applies to Barack Obama and John Edwards.  heck, to Joe Biden and Chris Dodd, too.

For chrissakes, Dems, why are you so proud of these bozos?   And you do realize this is the reason why senators rarely win presidential elections, right?   I guess the exception would be JFK, but for crying out loud none of these clowns could ever hold a candle to Jack Kennedy

Now that even I have accepted the fact that she is the likely nominee she'll probably end up losing.

What exactly is your 'own kind', SS?  I mean what do you mean by that here?  Lawyers?  Southerners?  Rightists?

As for who will win the Democratic nomination, well, I could have voted Hillary, since she will win it, but I voted Gore, since he is the only one who could take it away from her if he so chose.

Unless she wins Iowa, then I will remain unconviced that Hillary is a shoe-in for the Democratic nomination. She is leading in the polls and raised the most money this past quarter, but until the voting begins, I don't think anyone can really can be sure who will be the nominee.

As for the poll, I voted John Edwards. I wouldn't count him out yet.

I agree with that.  I think any of the top 3 can still win the primary, and Hillary, while she is on top and seemingly increasing her lead, can still come crashing back down to earth.  I voted Hillary, but I wouldn't be a bit suprised to see her turn into a Howard Dean of 2003/2004, coming crashing down after the first of the year.

It has to be Clinton. I'd rather see Obama or Edwards, but really, it's locked up.
