Only 10%? This is disturbing if accurate but the poll seems a little funny to me. I doubt Edwards is at 16%.

The only Democratic candidates named in the survey were Clinton, Obama, and Edwards.  The names of Richardson, Dodd, Biden, etc. were not given, so that's why "Other" (besides the top 3) is only at 5%.  We only have three other polls of IL in the Atlas.  Two of them are by ARG, which give Obama leads over Clinton of 6 points and 4 points.  The other non-ARG poll has an Obama lead of 28 points, but that was taken back in April, when Clinton's national lead was about half of what it is now.  So it wouldn't surprise me if Obama's current lead really is just 10 points.

I think there was at least one other poll that gave Obama a huge lead not too long ago. I can't recall who did it though.

Anyway I'm pretty sure those ARG polls were garbage.

Well, there's nothing in the Atlas or Wikipedia.  Not sure if there's anywhere else to look....other than combing through all the threads in this forum.

Besides, does it really matter how big Obama's lead in IL is?  Even if it's "only" 10 points, he's still doing much better there than he is nationwide.  If he were to actually make enough of a national comeback to be within striking distance of winning the nomination, he'd have IL in the bag.
