It's the law in New Jersey that you can't pump your own gas. So all stations are full-service.
Various parts of Long Island are the same as well.

Anyway....lowest gas taxes in the nation. Gas where I live is 2.52...... try going out to the east end of LI....it's at least a dollar more.
