So I was doing a big tourist trip this past week, to see the historical sites in Philly, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty in NYC, and a couple of the Smithsonian museums in D.C., and going up to NYC we stop to get gas in New Jersey.
The first thing that struck me as strange is full-service at the gas station with an attendant.
The second thing was that the gas was $2.56 per gallon, as opposed to North Carolina for example where we pump our own gas and it's $2.76 per gallon.
How does New Jersey pay the attendants' salary and workmen's comp and all that, and yet your gas is twenty cents a gallon cheaper?
