I just noticed that Bob Odom dropped out of the runoff for Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry. He led the first round by 10,744 votes, but threw in the towel handing the office to the runner up, state Rep. Mike Strain, R-Covington.

That event would give Republicans all statewide offices except Lt Gov. I know earlier posts felt he would be easily defeated, but I have to wonder what Foti has chosen to do about an endorsement. I don't think that Jindal will stand by silently if the race appears winable.
