MAS/Approve (strongly)

I'm very surprised by the results of the poll thus far.  Are people really that upset about the metric system veto?

Some of the other vetoes, including death penalty repeal, came after the most recent election as well. I think that was the big draw against.

I believe that I have been a good Governor so far. I have signed and vetoed both numerous laws. Every law that I vetoed I've given a full explanation for, and I will continue to veto all legislation I deem unfit for the this great region. I hope that a couple of vetoes does not discourage members from introducing legislation.

MAS has been a good governor, just because he has stood up to the populous at times does not make him a bad governor.

10 votes to date, I'd appreciate more votes before officially publishing results.

I suppose I should elaborate; I voted Neutral in this poll, mostly because of the volume of vetoes coming out of this Governor's office. I vote for Governor based on capability to run the government, not political ideology, and I would hate to have to change my voting patterns to political ideology, but MAS's politically divisive vetoes make me want to do so.

(I will say that I am personally opposed to veto power generally, and I suppose this predisposes me to dislike anyone who utilizes it.)

I would almost entirely agree with Sen. Verily on his above points. I believe the veto should be rarely used.

I have to say that I am very disappointed by the actions of Governor MAS including his constant vetoing of the will of the people he represents. I voted disapprove, by the way, for his actions as such. Unlike the fine Senator I have no qualms about putting ideology into the mix when concerning preformance and approval.

I am sorry not everyone agrees with some of my vetoes. I have been a long opponent of repealing the death penalty, that should come as no surprise to anyone. The people elected to be exercise my best judgment on their behalf as the Chief Executive, and that's what I'm doing. I am doing what I believe is right for this region.

I must admit I am surprised that, according to Hashemite's poll, that I would beat the incumbent Governor in the 2008 Northeast Gubernatorial Election. However saying this, I am not surprised that Northeast voters are disapproving or are neutral when asked about the job MAS is doing as Governor.

I too continue to support your policies, you took into account the effects of the metric system conversion only in your region, something others did not

I don't know why, but I feel like maybe multiple people voted, or people from outside the district voted.

Either way, I strongly support both our Governor, and Lt. Governor. I think both have done an excellent job.

Oh, there's no doubt.  I know the Northeast is big, but I don't think it's 21 legit-voters-in-one-poll big.

I'm inclined to agree. Considering we only had 15 people vote in the last Gubernatorial Election and only 12 vote in the November Props.
