YES! Space question! (Important issue for me). Huckabee wants to expand the space program, good. Tancredo wouldn't. F**k him. He's a moron. If we didn't piss away money on this joke war, we could have more money on the space program.

They still have to show Paul's video. Nice way to end the debate.

Huckabee is slick...if he wasnt a populist i could like the guy.

And we're still asking the social security question...fun.

Thompson's answer is too idealistic (a shame), social security stopped being a pay as go program long ago.  Perhaps it should be again, but currently it is not.

Was Anderson Cooper pushing Romney on the gays in the military issue so hard perhaps because he himself (Anderson Cooper) is gay?

If he is gay, that's fine, I do not have a problem with that, but he did push Romney very hard on this question.

Thats because you never know exactly where Romney stands on any issue so you have to pry it out of him forcefully, and even then you'll still get a two-faced answer.

The best response from Tancredo I've heard all campaign. Whether you think we should go to Mars or not, the fact that being everything to everyone causes the excessive spending is a good point.

Ok it's over.  Huckabee won the debate with that "Put Hillary on the first rocket to Mars" line.

I actually kind of cringed at that.  I was with him but with that it seemed that his "people" told him to make a Clinton joke and he'd been waiting.  I don't know.  The audience liked it, though.

Haha, good answer from Huckabee, but I'm not sure I needed to hear that touching bit.

This is a weird question.  And that dude is creepy.  And those aren't the Stars and Bars!

Romney's answer is already kind of sucky.

Not so fast, my friend. I, too, am a HUGE space fanatic (hoping someday to get an astrophysics doctorate) but Huckabee expanding the space program means nothing. We need to use the program to learn things about the universe, not for whatever insane things Huckabee would use it for.

Sadly it appears that the best way to win over the crowd (and possibly the debate) is to reply with a snappy one liner.

Good point. I guess I'm actually more relieved the issue was brought up.

I wasn't in it.

And here's the Stars & Bars for the curious.

Hmm... Paul's video was ok, but I think this one would've worked better.

Hmm, Giuliani vs McCain. I'd say Rudy won that one.

Not only do all of Ron Paul's supporters IT workers, but apparently people can only talk about Ron Paul while near a computer.

And he's not running as an independent.  Boo.

Good. I want Ron Paul to be out of my life on Feb. 5th. Paul's also getting too big of an ego.

lol the Republican party is the party of gay haters.

That comment is just silly.

That's like saying the Democratic Party is the party of baby haters, because most Democrats are pro abortion, and I do not think for a moment that the Democratic Party is the party of baby haters.
