After our great and respected leader Keystone Phil dies, I will take political leadership of the Central Pennsylvania Freedom Militia.  The CPFM’s goal is to ensure economic, religious, and other freedoms are not infringed upon by foreign powers and that Pennsylvania will always be a constitutional, democratic republic.  We will fight to the death to keep the Keystone state free from tyrannical rule.  We also want apprehend and punish the assassins who murdered our great leader, Keystone Phil.  Our militia is composed of hunters, Pennsylvania National Guard Members, and other freedom loving citizens.  The CPFM military leadership is provided by a high ranking National Guard member.  We are armed with hunting rifles, and PA National Guard weapons.  Our greatest weapon is our willingness to die for our cause.  Live free or die!  We will never forget our leader Keystone Phil.  We will never forget what he stood for.  We will never forget that he dedicated his life to fighting for the best interests of Pennsylvanians and that he saw the best in us and believed in us.  WE WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT HE DIED FOR!

As a political leader in central Pennsylvania, I would like to begin talks with you, regional President Josh22.  I propose that Pennsylvania legally join your federation of states.  For the Central Pennsylvania Freedom Militia to abandon claims to the Pennsylvania government, certain conditions must be met.  I propose that we begin talks on an official treaty.  I realize that eventually your military could destroy the militia, but we could cause incredible destruction to your military forces.  I believe it is better that we work together to defeat our common enemies, so that one day the people of Pennsylvania and the people of your nation may live in peace.

Currently the CPFM is protecting an area in central Pennsylvania from Lancaster County in the southeast to Bradford County in the northeast and from to Somerset County in the southwest to Warren County in the northwest.  These boundaries extend from southern to northern Pennsylvania.  The military leadership of the CPFM has deemed that it would spread our forces too thinly if we extended the area of protection beyond these boundaries.

Well that is hard to do, when im writing a story. I might put you in the story.

You can be the master of the outcomes of the battles and other things, but why can’t you incorporate my actions into your story.  You can make me win or loose a battle, but if I lead the militia into combat you could acknowledge that in your story.  I would like my actions to be acknowledged in the story, but you and only you may decide their outcomes.

If the following treaty is signed by the President of North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and New Jersey, Josh22; it will become active law of the state of Pennsylvania.  The forces of the Central Pennsylvania Freedom Militia will be at the command of President Josh22.  The CPFM hopes that it can serve Josh22 as its new commander.  The leadership of the CPFM suggests that the CPFM be used to attack Premier Migrendel’s Socialist Peoples Republic of New England or Bandit73’s Marxist Monarchy in Kentucky.      
       

The following are some ideas for a treaty that would legally join Josh22’s mid-Atlantic republic with the republic of Pennsylvania.  First I would like to say that any treaty must be ratified by the people of Pennsylvania.  The state of Pennsylvania would agree to enter into a treaty that made Pennsylvania a member of a federation or a confederation.  Power should be divided between the national and state governments or the state governments should be supreme.  Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to bear arms, economic freedom should be preserved.  Pennsylvania’s citizens and businesses should not be taxed by the national government for more than a total of 35% of their income, and their economic choices should not be unduly regulated.  Pennsylvanians should be allowed to freely trade with non-communist countries that are not enemies of their national government.  Because Pennsylvania will only join a federation or confederation, it should be governed by a Governor who is elected by the people of Pennsylvania and a legislature that is also elected by the people of Pennsylvania.  Pennsylvania should be allowed to maintain a State Guard for the defense of citizens.  This treaty will make the constitution of Josh22’s country sovereign law.  All powers not delegated to his country’s national government in its constitution shall be reserved for the state of Pennsylvania and its people.

The Mid-west election

This is the first election after the war. BRTD is the likely candidate to win. He is running on the Red Party. The Red party is a left wing party, who wants to stop all war. And destroy all nukes they have.

There is another candidate too, PBrunsel. He is running on the Hoover Party. The HP is a right wing party who wants to join the West and make one big nation. And keep the nukes.

BRTD was head by a lot when the election started. But it quickly went down, after people found out how he stood on issues.

With two days until the election, the polls show that 51% of the nation wants BRTD and 48% wants PBrunsel.

The Central Pennsylvania Freedom Militia would like to make its territorial boundaries known.  Currently the CPFM is protecting an area in central Pennsylvania from Lancaster County in the southeast to Bradford County in the northeast and from to Somerset County in the southwest to Warren County in the northwest.  These boundaries extend from southern to northern Pennsylvania.  The eastern boundary is Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, Northumberland, Montour, Lycoming, Sullivan, and Bradford.  Any movement of troops across this line by anyone other than Keystone Phil will be seen as an act of war.  We are currently investigating the possibility that 5 captured prisoners have ties to rebel leader Handzus26.  If these rebel scouts have ties to Handzus26, there will be retribution.  The CPFM would like to offer political asylum to the strangely still living Keystone Phil.  We will provide food and shelter for you and your forces.  We will not however dissolve our organization.  The CPFM was formed on the premise that our leader was assassinated.  The leadership of the CPFM will not abdicate to the Keystone government because it believes that the Keystone Armed Forces are currently unable to guard a larger area than they already are.  The Central Pennsylvania Republic and the Central Pennsylvania Freedom Militia realizes that compared to other nations its military equipment is less capable, but our determination to fight and possibly die for our ideals is second to none.  We would like to make peace with the surrounding nations, but if instead we are confronted with hostility, we will give our lives for your destruction.

Here is some information about the forces of the CPFM.  The CPFM currently utilizes some of the defense assets of the former Pennsylvania National Guard.  In the time leading up to the Second U.S. Civil War, the PA National Guard was not well maintained.  During the economic crisis of the 20 teens, U.S. military and state National Guard budgets were heavily cut.  State governments, including Pennsylvania’s, could barely provide basic entitlements, like the Senior Citizens Recreation Fund and cosmetic surgery for canines, let alone fund less important programs like defense.  Some in government proposed dissolving the National Guards.  In the end, the decision was left to the states.  Pennsylvania, under the leadership of a Republican governor chose to maintain a small National Guard.  While they used outdated weapons from the last century, they were well trained.  The National Guard again became an issue in the 2018 Pennsylvania election, State Senator and businessman Keystone Phil faced Philadelphia Councilman Handzus26.  Keystone Phil proposed an economic stimulus package that would strengthen Pennsylvania’s faltering economy and increased funding for the National Guard.  Handzus26 favored government subsidized entertainment to keep the youth and senior citizens out of trouble and the abolition of the National Guard.  Keystone Phil won the election by 5%.  He became the first republican gubernatorial candidate to win certain sections of Philadelphia since who knows how long.  As Keystone Phil began to turn the Pennsylvania economy around, the civil war broke out in 2020.  This brings us to the present.  The CPFM possesses tanks, Humvees, APC’s (armored personal carriers), and mobile surface to air missile defense systems.  As for our air force, we have F-15 Eagles, F-16 Falcons, and A-10 Thunderbolts.  The CPFM does not currently maintain a navy.  As is obvious, these last century weapons are outdated.  The U.S. Military possesses far superior weapons to which the CPFM has no access.  The CPFM believes that it may be confronted with these superior weapons in combat.  Another problem for the CPFM is that it has limited petroleum reserves.  Because U.S. currency is all but worthless the CPFM has little to trade for much needed fuel.

The intelligence gathering services of CPFM have discovered that Keystone Phil is alive!  The reports that said that he was assinated are incorrect.  It appears that these reports are propaganda spread by Handzus26.  It is believed that Handzus26 held the local Philadelphia news stations hostage and forced them to spread the disinformation.  How this development will influence the current politic situation is still to be determined.  The Keystone Armed Forces still maintain control over Philadelphia and Chester County.  The leadership of the Central Pennsylvania Republic suggests that the Keystone Republic, the Central Pennsylvania Republic, and the Penn Federation join forces to defeat our common enemies.

As to those wondering what I would do, I would try to take over Suffolk and Nassau counties, as well as Brooklyn and Queens.

If you give me that, I'll leave you all alone.

Can I have Long Island?

Sure.  It is fine with me, but Premier Migrendel might have a problem with it because it is a part of his Socialist People’s Republic of New England.  I suggest you start a rebellion.

F-OFF has completely captured Hawaii, and it has proclaimed it's independence under new ruler, Hugh. He has depanded all former american nations recognise Hawaiian independence, and also their claim over the Alutes.

I suspect Brambila will see this as an act of war since Hawaii is part of his nation.  Hopefully NickG will write more of the story soon and incorporate our actions into it.  
The Central Pennsylvania Republic will recognize the F-OFF as a sovereign nation if the F-OFF recognizes the sovereignty of the CPR.  If Ruler Hugh recognizes the CPR, the CPR wishes to exchange ambassadors.  The CPR wishes to know the official title of Ruler Hugh and what form of government the F-OFF has.  These actions of the CPR are not to be construed as any form of hostility toward Brambila’s nation.  The recognition of the F-OFF is not an endorsement of the Hugh government.  It is simply acknowledging the reality that Brambila no longer controls the islands of the Pacific.

My government would send aid to Boss Tweed. I would have his army armed and well supplied to overthrow Premier Migrendel.

I agree that we must overthrow Premier Migrendel.  What do you think about an alliance, States Rights?  I know the forces of the CPFM are comparatively weak, but we believe that the Socialist People’s Republic of New England poses a threat to us.  The Central Pennsylvania Republic would support Boss Tweed’s efforts to proclaim independence for Long Island New York.

Bullmoose88, the CPR would like to make peace with the Penn Federation.  The CPR will make peace with the Penn Federation on the condition that the Penn Federation will not try to take Philadelphia and Chester County from Keystone Phil.  The CPR believes that the CPR, Penn Federation, and the Keystone Republic should work together to defeat Premier Migrendel’s Socialist Peoples Republic of New England.
