I don't think any republican can beat any democrat right now.

McCain could beat any Democrat, although he would probably lose to HRC, Obama, and maybe Edwards.

Huck's abolition of income tax would play so goddamn well in WV.  right?  lol.

Hillary rapes him hardcore there.  think, people.

That's not what people vote on.  Ordinary people vote on social issues and occasionally "lower taxes".  Huckabee's religion overrides his actual positions in most of the south.

Huckabee's religion will be a major factor: it will help him in the South (he'll probably crack 60% in most states against Hillary) but hurt him elsewhere, especially if the election becomes a war over Protestant theology.

Yeah, you're probably right.  I know Colorado is coming along nicely.  I wonder how much (if at all) Janet Napolitano would help Hillary there?

I'd say about as much as Kathleen Sebelius will help her in Kansas, which is to say, almost zero effect.  Things would be different, of course, if they were both up for re-election next year, but I still believe that any 'coat-tails' for Clinton would be very short.

Coattails don't really help when 50%+ of the population of a particular will not vote for you because of your party name shows you to be a terrorist-loving baby eating treehugging homosexual(D) or the Christian version of Osama Bin Laden that wants to con you out of all your money(R). That's oversimplification, but you get the jist- you cannot win a state when you don't have the votes!
