Generic Democrat vs. Generic Republican means nothing much. Head-to-heads are certainly closer. Otherwise, places like IN or ID would flip over to the Democrats according to recent polls, while WI and IA would go Democrat by double digits. But Obama currently is the one who comes closest to making it Generic Democrat vs. Generic Republican. He led Romney by 14% in the latest SurveyUSA poll and Huckabee by 21% ...
