Darn beat me to it! Yeah that's got all the populations, although good luck with the provinces of China. I've done lists like this all the time, one thing I was thinking of, is perhaps the world would be represented with 1000 members? Might be a project for me in the future :-p

Believe it or not, Kerry would win Alberta. According to polls Kerry was way ahead there. Bush was strongest in Atlantic Canada for some reason, but even there Kerry would have won. (Alberta was 60% Kerry Atlantic Canada around 50%)

What is the ideal population by constituency?

1/1000 of the world's population. For Afghanistan, it was slightly less than 6 mil for Algeria, it is about 6.8 mil, and that's here:

Smiley×4,000

But it's not a good idea to combine Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan (for obvious reasons). Perhaps combine with Iran instead?

I was going to, but this was just easier. And thanks for the District names, I'll use them except I think I will stay with Dhaka City.

Good thing these aren't real, then. Wink

Dhaka City was the one I was least sure about, but I felt like making it sound a bit more Canadian.

If Canadian was what you're going for, the "Centre" is the appropriate spelling. I'm sure that's how they'd spell it in Bangladesh as well.

Of course, I can set this up like a commission, and have detractors propose alternate ideas. I'm open to alter maps. I think it would be cool to use these maps to have some sort of fantasy election.

Just a suggestion: you may want to keep the French and Flemish parts of Belgium apart.

I wanted to, but it didn't work out. I'm trying to keep within 1 million people of the average
