This has turned out to be a very good game. Can Ernest make a comeback?

Not if he continues to roll dice like that last turn.  Grin

This is getting really confusing.  I think Fezzy's winning but I've completely lost track of how many cards everyone has.

It might behoove Fezzy to destroy the Eastern half of Ernest this turn, because Ernest is no longer weak enough that Sensei could finish him off, and not having other forces would force him to just burrow into Sensei.

Sensei is in a rough position.  Two front war.  However, his troops have been faring well.

Ernest needs to have a good turn with the dice and reassert himself in the West.

Place all 4 battalions in Oregon for a total of 6 battalions.  So long as I have more battalions to attack with than Sensei does defending, attack Oregon to Washington, moving only the attacking battalions into Washington.

If 3 battalions remain in Oregon after taking Washington, then tactical move 1 battalion Arizona to Nevada.

If 1 or 2 battalions remain in Oregon after taking Washington, then tactical move 1 battalion Nevada to Oregon.

If Washington hasn't been taken, attack do or die Arizona to Utah, and await further orders.

I'll trade these in:

So that would put two extra each in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.  I have a total 15 troops to deploy.  I'd like them all to go in Kentucky.  Attack from Kentucky to Virginia to Tennessee do or die.

Fezzy's victory seems more and more likely, but it's really not over yet...although for Sensei to win, he's going to need to be a lot more aggressive and stop fighting a two-front war.

Of course you're allowed to comment.  What I hope to avoid from everybody, however, are direct attacks on players.  The only kind of attacks I tolerate are those between the players themselves in the second phase of each turn. Wink

Yes, but with my head exploding those were the only kind of comments that would come out. Smiley

Given how you chose to alienate me by taking away my Pacific bonus despite the fact I left you the Plains bonus last turn, I wonder about that as well.

Don't beat yourself up too harshly, Sensei.  You just have two armies plowing into you from either side, while each of them only has one opponent.  You are at a serious tactical disadvantage, and that's not totally your fault.
