Likely from the Thompson campaign, but might have been from the Romney campaign.  Initially asked about which candidates I liked as possibilities, then asked some generic Thompson questions, then provided some push questions about two of the three candidates I mentioned as possibles for my vote: Huckabee, McCain, and Paul  (Assuming I vote in the Republican primary that is.  If I vote in the Democratic primary, I'll be voting for Hillary even though I can't stand her, since of the ones left in the Democratic field I think she would make the best President.)  Didn't bother to trash Paul, so I guess whichever campaign was behind it didn't consider him worth the bother.

Quite a few questions for both McCain and Huckabee of things that they had done or promoted that whoever paid for the "poll" thought that with their distorted take on them would make a Republican Primary voter less likely to vote for them.  Immigration amnesty, taxes, Huckabee's commutations, etc.  For instance, they mentioned Huckabee's sales tax (not bothering to mention that it was intended as a replacement for the income tax and quoting the 30% figure used by opponents instead of the 23% figure used by proponents).

But considering that Romney is concentrating on Michigan, I think it likelier was Thompson as he's pinned all his remaining hopes here.

Romney and his campaign have too much integrity, principle, and honor to conduct anything as deceitful as a push poll.

I don't believe I've ever said "burn" while trying to actually be funny.

Besides, there's no way I could upshow you in this thread comedy-wise.  Optimism truly is alive in America.  Blind, limited optimism.

But alas, out of him and Thompson, who do you believe has the money to fund such a thing?

I guarantee you that:
(1) This is a messaging poll, not a push poll.
(2) Romney does messaging polls.  I mean, seriously, I know that for a fact.  I worked for the guy.

It's not a poll at all. Just a messaging push.

No... you are right.  Romney is perfect in everyway.  He decended from on high with Olympic Torch in hand.

Romney also doesn't support socalized medicine, pro-life groups, Ronald Reagan, gun rights, or laws against gays.

And Romney is going to use his super powers to bring back the auto industry to Michigan.

Because Romney doesn't do polls for "integrity, principle, and honor bla bullsh**t bla" and Thompson is asleep, it has to be somebody else.
